History of GMAT

GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test) was created by business schools to assist the admission process of business schools. It was first launched in 1953. Since then, there have been several changes in GMAT to meet the needs of business schools and candidates. Its latest edition is The GMAT Focus Edition.

Total Time Allocated For GMAT Test

The total time allocated for GMAT is about 3 hours 7 minutes. There are 4 sections and time is separated accordingly:

• Analytical Reasoning Assessment(AWA): 30 minutes

• Integrated Reasoning(IR): 30 minutes

• Quantitative Reasoning: 62 minutes

• Verbal Reasoning: 65 minutes

Scoring System of GMAT

The GMAT(Graduate Management Admission Test) has a scoring system that ranges from 200 to 800 for the overall test. The test is divided into four sections: Analytical Writing Assessment, Integrated Reasoning, Quantitative Reasoning and Verbal Reasoning.  The table below provides a general description of the score ranges
